PRIVACY POLICY

How we handle your data.

This policy explains what personal data Gulf Medics collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who books a ticket or contacts us.

1. What we collect

When you book, we collect the details you enter on the booking form: your name, email address, mobile number, ticket type, and your answers to the sign-up questions (such as specialty, grade, medical school and career interests). Payment is processed by our payment provider — we never see or store your full card details.

2. How we use it

We use your details to run the event: processing your booking, sending your confirmation and joining details, and contacting you about the webinar if something changes. With your consent, we may also share your details with recruiters and sponsors about opportunities in the Gulf, and send you news about future Gulf Medics events. These two uses are optional and only happen if you tick the relevant box at checkout.

3. Your consent choices

Running the event and sending joining details is required as part of your booking. Being contacted by recruiters and sponsors, and receiving news about future events, are both optional — you can book a ticket without agreeing to either, and you can withdraw either consent at any time by emailing us.

4. Who we share it with

We share your data only with: our payment provider (to process your payment), our email and hosting providers (to run the event), and — only if you have opted in — recruiters and sponsors. We never sell your data.

5. How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as needed to run the event, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and — where you have opted in — to share relevant opportunities with you. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see below).

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email gulfmedicsme@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
