A MOVE WORTH TALKING ABOUT
New horizons. Real questions.
“I wanted to hear about the difficult parts, not just the sunshine and the salary.”
A consultant’s perspective
“Understanding how day-to-day general practice differs would help me ask much better questions.”
A GP’s perspective
“It’s never too early to explore what a career in medicine could look like beyond the UK.”
A medical student’s perspective
“Before considering a move, I’d want to understand how training and long-term career progression fit together.”
A junior doctor’s perspective
“For me, the big questions are about family life, schools and finding a community — not just a new job.”
A relocating parent’s perspective
“I’d want an honest picture of the first year — the paperwork, the adjustments and the moments of doubt.”
A newly arrived doctor’s perspective
A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING
Your questions, before the conversation.
Who is this webinar for?
UK consultants, GPs, junior doctors and medical students considering a career in the Gulf.
When and where will it take place?
The full-day course takes place online on Saturday 16 January 2027, starting from 10:00am UK time. Joining details will be shared before the event.
How long is the course, and can I ask questions?
The provisional timetable runs from 10:00 to 15:30 UK time. Each of the five speaker slots includes a 45-minute talk and 15-minute Q&A, with a 30-minute lunch break at 13:00. Topics and running order are subject to change.
Are bookings open, and what do tickets cost?
Bookings are now open. Early-bird rates are £129 for consultants and GPs (normally £179), £99 for junior doctors (normally £149), and £79 for medical students (normally £129).
Will a recording or CPD certificate be available?
Yes — every ticket includes 72-hour playback, so you can rewatch the full day for three days after the event. The webinar is not applicable to CPD.
Will we hear about the downsides too?
Yes. The conversation is designed to cover both the opportunities and the trade-offs, drawing on the panel’s personal experiences rather than recruitment promises.
Is this individual licensing or career advice?
No. This is an experience-sharing event. Licensing, immigration, tax and employment requirements depend on your situation and should be checked with the relevant authorities or qualified advisers.
UK TRAINED. GULF BOUND?
Make your next move an informed one.
Start with a conversation, not a commitment to relocate.
